We believe the following are essential…

• On the essentials of the Christian faith we must have unity, on the non-essentials we must have liberty, and in all things we must have charity.
• There is one God, consisting of three different people: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matt.28:19-20, 2Cor.13:14, 1John 5:7 Is.40:18, 46:5; Gen.1:26)
• The Son, Jesus Christ, is God in flesh and came to earth to save sinners, died, and rose again (John 1:1, 14; 8:24; 20:28, Rom.9:5, Phil. 2:5-11, Col.2:9, 1Tim.3:16, Titus 2:13, Heb.1:8, 1John 5:20, Rev. 1:8,11, 17-18; 22:13, Zech.12:10, Micah 5:2)
• All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and the punishment for sin is eternal separation from God (Rom.3:23, 6:23, James 2:10)
• Salvation is received by repenting of our sin and by putting our faith in Jesus’ completed substitutionary work of the cross as the propitiation for our sin (Mark 1:15, Luke 13:3, John 3:16, 14:6, 19:30, Acts 16:31, 1Cor15, Eph. 2:8-9, Titus 3:4-7)
• We are all born as God’s creation and are separated from God due to our sin; therefore, we must be born again. It is through our repentance and faith that we are regenerated and reconciled to God as children and are adopted into His family by which we now call God our Father (John 3:3, 5, 7, Romans 5:12; 8:15, Gal. 4:6-7, 1Peter 1:23)
• The Holy Spirit is a person (John 14:16-17, 16:13-15, Acts 5:3-4, Eph.4:30, 1Thes.5:19) 
• The Bible is the inerrant, infallible, and completed Word of God (2Tim.2:15, 3:16, Psalm 19)
• All other doctrines, although they are important, are not essential for salvation and therefore must be acknowledged as within the Christian liberty of every believer; it is our desire to not divide over non-essentials, but to give love and grace to our brothers and sisters for the sake of unity (Eph. 4:3-6)    
• The harvest to be plentiful and the laborers to be few; therefore, we desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community (Matt.9:36-38, Romans 12:5, 1Cor.12, Col.1:18)
• Obedience to God does not secure our position as a child of God, but obedience will greatly impact the quality of relationship with Him (John 14:15-24, James 2:14-26)
• In two ordinances: Baptism (an outward sign of the inward change that God has done in us- Matt.28:19, Acts 2:38, Romans 6:3-4, 1Peter 3:21) and communion (a time to remember the body and the blood of Jesus and to examine our walk with Him- Luke 22:19, 1Cor.11:23-26) 
• Marriage is the union between a man and a women as demonstrated in the Garden of Eden and is symbolic of our relationship between the believer and our Savior (Eph.5)
• There will be a judgment for believers and unbelievers. Unbelievers will stand before God for condemnation and believers will stand before God for commendation (John 1:24-261, Romans 14:12, 1Cor.3:8-15, 2Cor.5:9-10, Rev. 20:11-15)
